'Conservatism's new frontier'
The newsletter comes bearing events, and optimism.
Brief one from yours truly this week, as the schedule has been a particularly difficult balancing act. But needless to say, there’s been some exciting work going on behind the scenes, some of which I’m happy to be able to share here today, and there will also be more to come. (Along with a return to the regular column next week.)
For starters, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to invite you to Vancouver on April 24th, as I’ll be a featured speaker on stage at Canada Strong and Free Vancouver.

Via the CSFN release: Alex Brown is Managing Editor of Without Diminishment, Director of the National Citizens Coalition, and one of Canada's sharpest political commentators. His work has appeared in the Toronto Sun, The Hub, Juno News, the Western Standard, and more, and his Acceptable Views Substack is a must-read for anyone who cares about where this country is heading.
I’ll also be co-hosting a pub night in Calgary on March 20th, as I’ll be back in Cowtown on NCC and Without Diminishment business. We’d love to have you join, if you’re local.
I may be a recent arrival and a carpet-bagger from Ontario, but for all of the present struggles when it comes to federal conservative fortunes, it’s all to play for out west, the need for MOUs to get out of the talking phase remains of the utmost importance, and conservativism’s “new frontier” on the further left coast offers up opportunities in abundance.
The mud hut wing of the NDP has served Canada poorly, and no longer can one of the world’s most exquisite landmasses be treated like some backwater for grievance and grift. B.C. is uniquely situated to take a starring role in our political fortunes over the next few years, is loaded with young talent, and we’re excited for the opportunity to show that off to the rest of Canada at CSFN Vancouver in April, and through all the B.C. Conservative leadership developments to come.
It’s a time to build, and rebuild, and to refuse to take those who did the breaking at their word. If you’re able to join us, and to see some of this work in person, it would be a pleasure to have you.
Be it in a 1000-person conference room or an Irish pub, frontiers are where you find them.
