Hey, if you protested you were ostracized, your family ghosted you, if you were in a job and spoke up, you were ruined. Then there's the war on men that has left entire generations without hope. There was literally NO support. I'm way into cold anger.
Understandably so, Elizabeth. I'm thankful our family stayed on the same page, but we've still been treated like lepers by quite a few. The modern far-left is fundamentally misanthropic and anti-'civil'-ization, and it's no surprise that when handed the keys it would go so wrong.
It's a common lament I'm hearing from many newcomers. "There's no real chance of a better life here, this wasn't what they promised." Truly a system that works for very few.
Heck, if I was starting over, and immigration wasn't an issue: I wouldn't choose Canada. That's saying something.
Well described Alex. No, we can't look away any longer. Only cowards do that and we know how that always works out.
Well said, Ted!

(Alex, for some reason the first link in your piece isnt working for me.) I never miss your essays. 🌳
Thanks for letting me know -- and for saying hi, Lucy! Just fixed the error.
Well said Alex.
Canadians are finally waking up to the disaster that Trudeau's post-national experiment has made of Canada.
Immigrants are noticing as well. Yesterdays' story headline from the Red Star...
"Canada’s ‘leaky bucket’ of immigration? More newcomers are choosing to leave because they have options".
