“Manlet” is gold.

Appreciate the comment and the kind message! For whatever limitations I'm putting on future publications and employment... I can at least say I write truthfully based on what first pops into my head, and I have a little fun with the form.

Interesting euphemism -manlet ( so if JT grows up he wants to become a man )

Would that make Joly a chicklet?

L.G., sorry I'm getting to this late. I endeavour to get to every comment or email within 24 hours. Just been a bit swamped.

We're in the interesting euphemism business here. As for Joly, I believe she's a fully-fledged bird of the flightless variety. Interesting plumage, too (the same pretend battle fatigues worn by Zelenskyy).

I stand corrected - flightless -Dodo bird!

I love this Joly quote from October of last year, when she was asked by a reporter about Canada's slow response to events in Israel:

"I am a busy woman."

And yet, not too busy to go out shopping for pretend combat fatigues to match Zelenskyy: https://newpathway.ca/joly-pays-surprise-visit-to-kyiv-canada-and-ukraine-launch-initiative-to-return-abducted-children/

And I quite liked her doublespeak after South Africa lost its mind (further): “Canada’s unwavering support for international law and the ICJ does not mean we accept the premise of the case brought by South Africa."

Yeah, there they go again. Joly and Trudeau both appeared to be saying that Canada's official position is that Israel is not committing a genocide -- which is a rational and correct, and commendably definitive, determination -- but then they just had to toss in their expression of "wholehearted support of the ICJ and its processes."

Which is like kinda saying, "It is Canada's position that Bob Loblaw did not commit murder, but we wholeheartedly support the foreign court that is prosecuting him for murder."

Given the degree to which the Lib's ship of state is listing to port, it is surprising to see how few of the repellant rodents have abandoned their cause. It will be interesting to see who seriously desires to take the helm. Ambition often trumps reason.

With respect to the Apollo 1 reference, it is great that you were able to source a photo of three space cadets.

Ted, I really should consult you before hitting publish. Last line is a gem.

Pretty incredible that it wasn't the drinking, husband-beating, and killing people with her car that did Payette in, it was a "Whoops we didn't vet her, she's mean to our delicate staff." Interesting priorities.

“Ship of state”? I think you mean Ship of fools.

Love your analysis. On a side note to your ‘honestly, who sits like this?’: my ex does. A Brit who is the only other fake person in the world beside the ‘manlet’ here whose patronizing syrupy nauseating voice alone makes my guts curdle. Don’t have children by these creeps: you can’t be rid of them. (ex turned out to be a pedophile once my kids started telling their stories)

Janet, I'm so very sorry to hear this. Time to add "sitting as if testicles don't exist" to the DSM. Thankful your children had such a great mother to make up for such depravity. Wishing you well.

My soon-to-be 15-year-old self remembers Apollo 1 like it was yesterday. I'd just purchased a used 3½" Tasco refracting telescope to feed my burgeoning interest in Astronomy.

The loss of Grissom, White, and Chaffee was an epic event in my young life. I wanted to build a small observatory above the corner of Dad's new garage, but it never came to pass.

Keep pumping these out, Alex. Canadians must not be led astray by Lieberal misdirection, which seems to be increasing in intensity these days.

Singh the, Maserati Marxist - I love that term - has abandoned all logic and will support Trudeau again; at least until the end of February. We have anywhere from 3-10 months before an election.

Take care!

Peter, thank you for this note. I know it was a formative tragedy for my father as well, who was enraptured by the space program, and who has such an adventurous spirit he got his pilot's license at the ripe age of 16.

I'll keep the content mill churning, and it's indeed a terrific insult. I believe we're bound for 10 months, based on what I hear.
