An excellent analysis of a most frustrating situation. Well done Alex.
With such a clear distinction between the Conservative and NDP platforms, it is astonishing that the results are so close. It certainly makes one wonder where the heads of British Columbians are at. Perhaps a VW microbus will arrive at NDP headquarters with hundreds of boxes of ballots that had been mysteriously misplaced.
Well said, Ted! It is indeed frustrating, but it’s a ton of progress in such a short time. Big city progressives can only live in fantasy land for so long.
A sober analysis Alex. I too was frustrated by the results of the B.C. election. However, on second thought, I realized that the B.C. voters woke up not to long ago to this nice, shiny, reborn Conservative Party which seemed to be pushing the right buttons.
Being ever cautious with such a renewal, they are taking the Conservative Party of B.C. for a test drive, so to speak.
It's now up to John Rustad not to screw up this test drive given to him by the voters. The next election will come sooner than later.
Well said, Peter! Will be curious to see how they manage the next few months (surprise mail-in count notwithstanding). Will have some fights with what’s left of ‘B.C. United' to manage, as well as some additional slandering from prospective partners on the left, to be sure. Will be important to stay the course.

Nice to read about some other "blissfully normal souls" in BC.
Thanks for the inspiration Alex.
Hope for us all, Kevin! Easy to be misled by the vocal minority. Plenty of normal folks out there.
Another life-giving tonic and shot in the arm (of the best kind), congrats Alex. Just know you loved rural Montana.
Glad this one causes significantly less myocarditis. Red State America is indeed my jam. Always refreshing.
You’re the best! Just trying to keep up with your tremendous work.
Nice essay!
Very kind of you, sir. Thankful for the support.
