Alex, thank you for arranging the publication of Mr. Brunet's informative and troubling piece. My heart goes out to the wife and family of Garnet Harper. The circumstances behind his death are disgusting and betray the confidence that some still have in our national health care system. Hopefully, fate will deal in a just manner with those responsible for his untimely passing.
Our pleasure, Ted. Thanks for this. One can dream -- but I don't have too much hope for *any* accountability. What we can do is try to move the Overton Window inch by inch, back towards a place less insane and cowardly.
Excited for you. Sometimes our surroundings outgrow us, and sometimes we outgrow our surroundings. Either way, change is essential, especially when it's in accordance with your principles. If it were easier, I'd join you. Instead, we're just not long for Ontario.
