Another piece of brilliant analysis Alex. The masters and mistresses of Bytown, who produce flimflam so effortlessly, continue to provide grist for your marvelous mill. Each new crisis, be it related to the climate, the economy, personal relationships or society, appears to be designed to divert attention from their ultimate ambitions. Like a thriller, one has to wonder what the next chapter will bring.

The next chapter is our qualify of life continues to get worse, they fail to gaslight the hell out of us, and then they wonder why they're so unpopular. Boy, that's not as enjoyable as my latest Jack Carr thriller...
