There has certainly been an utter lack of curiosity to dig further into this pillow fight, and an all but love-in by DJT's standards. Many in the press would never admit to being played, but I'm sure they know they helped sell a lemon in that fraudulently bombastic Covid campaign.
Carney deserves some limited credit for opening with decorum and attempts to lower the temperature. That it doesn't remotely match what it took to secure him the office is a real "screw you" to many.

All that's missing is outdoor masks, taking knees, banning healthy kids from planes and trains, and lowering the flag -- like the last 3-4 mass psychoses.
