I got really pissed off at my old man today in regards to the news of the day. He fought commies and fled in '56 and the reason I grew up staunchly anti communist. But after mom died he hooked up with a retired Toronto civil servant who gets 10000% of her "news" from CNN. I have not talked to her in over a year.
Covid was the last straw, she is the literal embodiment of everything that I detest about this world. and yes she is also vax injured and recent cancer survivor, last time we spoke 7 shots in.
