To continue - It is a betrayal of those who voted for them and those who worked so hard on the Conservative campaign and volunteered their time and energy to finally get a decent honest Federal govt. So again if they cross the floor to the Liberals their constituents have to demand their resignation. Hound their office until they have no choice but to leave. I would agree, Dwight. I can't seem to find what you're referring to. A Conservative floor-crossing would be highly unlikely. Gee, at most you might see one, in a place like Atlantic Canada.
The CPC camp and caucus are almost uniformly united, save for some justified potential criticisms of the nomination process, and a bunker-down strategy that alienated a few. It's not all Fords, Houstons, and Teneyckes out there.
Hope what I read was just a temporary reaction to the loss and Conservatives remain faithful to the Conservative Party and realize that Poilievre has done an excellent job of exposing consistent Liberal corruption scandals, coverups, Chinese criminal interference and lies. The Liberals and their supporters hate him because he also makes them look like the fools they are exposing the lame excuses they use to justify their blatant corruption and lies. The latest smear job by Carney that “Poilievre will take away a woman’s right to choose” is an egregious lie the winning Liberals have no problem with. Disgusting. My main concern is Carney bribing NDPers or BLOCers to cross the floor.
I hope that the extension of Poilievre’s riding into Liberal territory is investigated. And the Chinese interference in Joe Tay’s riding is investigated.
